Sounds Live is set to sizzle in 2010 with more live music events, workshops and a visit to the villages. It all happens live on 2MCE during August and September, in and around Bathurst (NSW Australia).
Plans are well underway for the staging of Sounds Live Festival 2010 (25th September – 1st October 2010) and the advisory committee has put forward some exciting new features for this year’s festival.

How about a Sounds Live Choir, Sounds Live workshops and Sounds Live in the Village to engage the community?
We’re planning for the festival to include:
- A launch event planned for Machattie Park and a Soiree
- Sounds Live workshops (vocal and percussion)
- Sounds Live Cabaret (opening night event)
- Sounds Live in the Village
- Sounds Live in the Studio
- We are calling for expressions of interest from local musicians to perform at our week-long Festival. Contact us with your questions, bio and demo.
- A "Sounds Live Sneak-Peak" event @ CSU, 4th June, facilitated by CSU Event Management students.
- Sounds Live Choir led by Tracey Callinan
- Rehearsals start Thursday 10th June 2010, 7.30pm
- 10 weeks rehearsals, 7.30pm for 90 minutes, held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, William St.
- Choir Workshops with Rachel Hore
- Workshops : Sunday 6th June & Sunday 18th July 2010. 10am - 1pm, held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, William St.
- Sounds Live Festival Launch event
- Wednesday 18th August 2010, held at BMEC 'Soiree', Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, William St.
- Sounds Live Cabaret
- Saturday 25th September 2010
- Bathurst RSL Club Auditorium, 114 Rankin St
- Featuring renown rockabilly group 'Wes Pudsey and the Sonic Aces'.
- Sounds Live in the Village
- Sunday 26th September, The Bridge Hotel, Perthville.
- Sounds Live Radio
- Throughout the week, local musicians will be performing live in the Bathurst studios of 2MCE-FM.
