Kerrianne Cox - 'On the Road to Sovereignty' Tour

2MCE 'Sounds Live Radio', 9-10pm Wed 13 July.

Internationally renowned, award winning, independent Aboriginal performing artist Kerrianne Cox from Beagle Bay on WA's Kimberly Coast, will be touring the Central West in July.

A troubadour in the feminine form and leader of her community, actively seeking a better vision for the First Peoples of this vast land, and ultimately a vision that includes everyone.

Kerriannes music celebrates the spiritual depth of her culture and the struggles of the First Peoples road to empowerment. Each song is a story of transformation, a healing journey towards sovereignty. Listen and share the vision from a culture that cannot be contained within stone monuments, a culture that reveres the Earth as the Mother-source of all the living

She will be accompanied by three local musicians, with a variety of local guest support acts at each show including Jacinta Tobin, Matt Williamson, Bruce Carr and more. Each show promises to be a truly unique and inspirational experience so don't miss out.

Come and share an evening of Song and Stories with Kerrianne Cox and Friends, 'On the Road to Sovereignty'.
